Ale de la PuenteConceptual artist, writer and industrial designer, Ale de la Puente has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, including group exhibitions at La Collecion Jumex, Ecatepec; Malba, Museo de Art Contemporaneo, Buenos Aires; Reina Sofia, Madrid; Tokyo Wonder Site, Tokyo; Baro Cruz, Sao Paulo, as well as several solo shows in kbk Arte Contemporanea, D.F; MCCLA, San Francisco; Mosaicon, Lodz. She studied at Escola  Massana  de  Artes  i  Oficis in  Barcelona,  Spain (1992-1994), and Industrial Design (1987-1991) as well as boatbuilding at the Arques School in California. She lives and works in Mexico City.

 

Daniel Monroy Cuevas: Visual artist, Daniel Monroy works with site-specific actions in urban and natural environments that are filmed as documentary and are transformed, through a process of editing, into fiction of subtle phenomenological impossibility. He specialised in audio/visual arts at the Centro de Artes Audiovisuales in Guadalajara and later cinema at Vancouver Film School. He has amongst other things participated in Videobrasil – a festival of electronic arts in Sao Paolo; Zonema, Screenings Honoring Mexican Independent Cinema, Chelsea Centre for the Arts, New York; Videozone, international video art biennale in Tel Aviv, and exhibited in amongst others Galeria Promotoraarte, Guadalajara; Centro Cultural Border, D.F.; CAM Contemporaneo, Guadalajara; Museo de la Ciudad, Guadalajara. He is currently based in Mexico City.

 

David Cruz: Artista y cineasta, David Cruz se graduó recientemente en Centro, diseño, cine, televisión. Trabaja con cine e instalación y está interesado en el juego entre probabilidad, autoridad e ilusión de la imagen móvil así como del proceso de capturar el presente momento en la sociedad, particularmente en la Ciudad de México. Actualmente se encuentra investigando temas de urbanismo, la ciudad moderna y la piratería. Vive y trabaja en la Ciudad de México.

Film maker and artist, David Cruz recently graduated from Centro – Diseno Cine y Television in Mexico City. He works with film and installation and is interested in the play between probability, authority and illusion of the moving image as well as the process of capturing the present moment in society and in Mexico City in particular. He lives and works in Mexico City.

 

Diana Quintero: Multi-media interactive artist, Diana Quintero works with the relation between technology and the daily materiality of our environments to create interactive installations that respond to the viewers. She studied plastic and visual arts at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura y Grabado, La Esmeralda and International Relations at the Instituto Tecnologico de Mexico. She has been selected for several electronic arts festivals and has exhibited in Museo de la Ciudad de Cuernavaca, Cuernavaca; Galeria Principal ENPEG La Esmeralda, D.F; Fundacion Ex Molino, D.F.; Centro Nacional de las Artes, D.F.; Ivan Gallery, ACAD, Calgary; Okupa Galeria Ambulante, D.F. She lives and works in Mexico City.

 

Erick Diego: A prolific sound artist, performer and cultural promoter. He currently heads the Airport project, is curator of sound art in Ex Teresa Arte Actual and the manager of Galería Interferencial, a space devoted to ephemeral art in Mexico City. Since 2005, he has directed the multidimensional project “Revista Sin Texto”, inviting artists from around the world to make thematic performance in public spaces between the dates 7-7-7 to 12-12-12. He has also presented his work in various public spaces, museums and cultural centers, among which include Museum of Art Carrillo Gil, Museo Rufino Tamayo, ExTeresa Arte Actual, Museo de Arte de Zapopan, MUAC UNAM, Mexico; BAC!(Spain), Trampolim_ (Brazil).

 

Francisco Ugarte: Artist and architect, Francisco Ugarte works with the phenomenological characteristics of site-specific locations. His work often consists of simple but evocative elements: light, mass, space, requiring the viewer to give time and sensitivity to the experience. He has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, including Collection Jumex, D.F.; Post Box Gallery, London; Galeria Travesia Cuatro, Madrid; Espacio M, D.F.; Museo Carrillo Gil, D.F.; Teatro Diana, Guadalajara; Instituto Cultural Cabanas, Guadalajara, as well as solo shows in amongst others Espacio Marte, D.F; Galeria Tal Cual, D.F; Galeria Curro y Poncho, Guadalajara; MACO, Oaxaca; Parque Agua Azul, Guadalajara; Post Box Gallery, London; Museo Experimental El Eco, D.F. He lives and works in Guadalajara.
